Giant Loop Luggage
Very pleased to announce that Giant Loop have come on board and will be supporting the Heavy Enduro Racing team. With trips to Morocco and an epic overland adventure to Mongolia taking place in 2021 its great to have Giant Loop looking after our luggage needs.
Since 2008, Giant Loop has evolved from two adventure motorcycle riders with a single saddlebag available only online, into one of the world’s most innovative motorcycle soft luggage and gear makers. Their product line now includes adventure proof packing systems and gear for motorcycles, snowmobiles and snow bikes, and outdoor extremes.
Riders worldwide energize and inspire Giant Loop to continually improve, and each design is prototyped and tested in some of the most demanding off-road conditions.
The team will be using both the new GL Pannier mount with Mototrekk Pannier and the Coyote Saddlebag systems which our riders are already very familiar and happy with.
As well as these main luggage systems we will be using Pronghorn Straps, Rogue Dry Bags, Tank Bags and Gas Bags.

Sahari Rally
Sahari Rally didn't quite got to plan with a decent crash on day one breaking ribs, finger and sternum. Although its never pleasant to have to back off I was happy to finish the race and grab a 2nd in the open class.
Algeria was both stunning and deadly with areas of very soft terrain and vast areas of dunes. The locals were extremely welcoming and we came away with many new friends. If the Dakar Rally is to return to these parts it will be an awesome challenge.

Corky and the chain roller that inflicted the initial damage that eventually ended his Africa Race in just two days. Not what was planned but as everyone knows - that's racing. Good news is that Corky now has the backing of a top rally parts manufacturer whom have been following from the start, and have total confidence in his abilities to get the LC8 to the finish line. They will be kindly rebuilding and improving the LC8 rally build with a new custom built rear end, oil tank, and the next version of their nav tower.
Corky has had some great words of encouragement and support from other people in the industry, followers, friends, fellow riders, and the media so it's straight back into the training and lets hope some sponsorship comes Corkys way and he can fulfil the dream of reaching Dakar on a twin cylinder.

Africa Eco Race 2018 Malle Moto Twin Cylinder
Corky is going through the registration process for the next edition of the Africa Eco Race.
It's been an ambition of his to compete in this event and follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest riders in rally history. It's not for everyone but Corky is addicted to the challenges of riding the bigger twin cylinder bikes. Riding them has given him his greatest and most enjoyable racing achievements. Entering both the Malle Moto and Twin Cylinder classes in the Africa Eco will be his ultimate rally adventure.
Earlier his year he took part in both the Tuareg and the Morroco Desert Challenge rallies on his modified KTM 950 Adventure with solid performances/results. Recently he just came back from an 8,000 km trip which included the Illyria Raid on the new Africa Twin.
The plan is to pull the 950 Rally out of retirement and have another go. To fund his entry Corky will be selling his much prized KTM Super Enduro that gave him his 1st taste of Twin Cylinder racing in the Hellas (2015) and the Tuareg Rally (2016).
Hel Performance, and JD Racing are supporting. Rally Raid Products have kindly offered to service the rear shock, Devon Moto have sorted Corky out with helmets from Bell, a mattress, & sleeping bag, Okehampton Cycles help with his bicycle needs for his training, & he has base layers, underwear, fleece jackets, and waterproofs from Jofama for the event.
